About the Project

The Contact Tracing Project, Communities Fighting COVID, funded by the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency(HHSA) is an initiative to conduct culturally appropriate and language-specific contact tracing services in vulnerable, low-income, and undeserved residents of San Diego County to control the spread of COVID-19.

San Diego State University School of Public Health is partnering with the County of San Diego HHSA to provide services to four San Diego County communities:

  • Spanish-speaking community
  • Arabic-speaking community
  • African American community
  • Tagalog-speaking community
